Helping chefs remain on the cutting edge of the culinary industry is one of our top priorities at The Chef’s Garden and one of the most integral ways that we do this is through the intense and innovative farming research and development that takes placeon a daily basis. We're farm innovators.

We are perpetually striving to develop new products in collaboration with the chefs we work with and through diligent research and to also reintroduce heirloom varieties that were on the brink of extinction. Nothing excites us more than developing a product that delights, inspires and instills in our customers a sense of wonder and excitement.

Our farm research and development team is comprised of the world’s most forward thinking and creative growers and researchers from around the world. Together, we:

  • Research and develop new product varieties
  • Fulfill chef requests for growing new, innovative products
  • Perform routine soil sampling to ensure the proper balance of nutrients for healthy plant growth
  • Conduct antioxidant testing and nutritional testing
  • Document routine and consistent brix (sugar content) readings
  • Our farming research & development and food safety programs assure that our quality, freshness, taste and service to you is never compromised
