No, we are not organic – we are a sustainable farm. The sustainable farming methods we employ at The Chef’s Garden negates the need for chemicals and synthetic fertilizers, eliminating the need for harmful additives that find their way into our food. By implementing sustainable agricultural practices at the farm, we replenish our soil with vital, life-giving nutrients, resulting in hand-harvested products packed with extraordinary flavor, optimal nutritional profiles and a long shelf-life.

The Chef’s Garden has approximately 300 acres, with approximately ½ to ¾ of those acres in production and the remaining in cover crops.
Our products are grown both in the field and the greenhouse, depending on the season, product and size, to assure optimal quality and flavor.
A microgreen is a tiny green that is used both as a visual and flavor component. Microgreens are produced from vegetable, herb or other plants. They range in size from 1” – 2” overall, including the stem and leaves.
A petite product is smaller than an ultra. Petite’s are typically 1” – 2” overall, while an Ultra is 3” – 4” overall.
Depending on the product, we package products in various container types and sizes, from small to large, to assure that the product maintains its quality and freshness during shipping.
We do not weigh our containers but fill them completely.
Each variety varies in size and therefore, pieces per container. Typically most petites, ultra, and flowers are by the 50 piece count.
We are located in Northeast Ohio and certain products are seasonally grown for optimal quality and flavor.
