After a decade of success with his restaurant Farmstead in Providence, Jennings returned to his native Boston. During his tenure as chef/owner of Townsman from 2015-2018, the New England brasserie was named one of Esquire’s Best New Restaurants in America; one of USA Today’s 10 Best New Restaurants in the country; and one of Food & Wine’s 10 Restaurants of the Year.
