Dr. John Sconzo aka “Docsconz” is a full-time practicing Anesthesiologist in upstate New York with a long held passion for food and all things culinary. That passion gained a voice back in 2003 during the early days of eGullet, and eventually led to his own website, Docsconz – Musings on Food and Life in 2008. “Doc” has maintained that site ever since, while co-founding a chapter of Slow Food in the Saratoga Region of upstate New York , attending and chronicling various culinary and Chef’s forums and events around the world, and enjoying and promoting quality food and drink, wherever it can be found. He considers himself a culinary enthusiast and channels his output into his website,facebook, Twitter and Instagram all under the moniker “docsconz”. He has recently branched out leading International culinary oriented tours.
