Arlene is the founder, Executive Director and Content Curator for the Annual Canadian Hospitality Symposium, Terroir. Held each spring in Toronto Canada, Terroir brings together 800-1000 industry leaders from across Canada and the Globe, in a forum for networking, education and inspiration. With over 20 years of experience working in the field of hospitality, including restaurants, event management, program design and marketing communications, Arlene has positioned herself as a leader in this field. Her work maintains a focus on food systems issues, environmental sustainability and community development. She has presented at various conference and symposiums as a speaker and moderator as well has published writer. Her newest adventure in storytelling is the production of a series of short films about food culture, appropriately titled “A sense of place”.
