As our business continues to grow, we have a need to fill a new position in our Accounting Department as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. This is a full time, year round hourly position working Monday through Friday.
Assist the sales team with set up of new customer accounts
Research and resolve customer A/R issues
Make collection calls on past-due accounts, process customer payments
Reevaluate credit worthiness of current customers by monitoring account activity
Provide customer statements, invoices, and credit memos
Process daily/weekly/monthly deposits (cash, check, credit card, direct deposit) and monitor A/R Aging reports
Provide superior customer service to our customers and coworkers
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) - advanced skills preferred
E-Commerce, Online banking
Familiarity with accounting software packages and ERP systems
Thorough understanding of GAAP
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus
2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable is required
Associate’s Degree in Accounting is preferred
The ideal candidate would have strong analytical and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and the ability to meet departmental deadlines along with excellent communication skills, outstanding customer service skills, and have a team-player mentality.
