Martha Holmberg is a producer, whose projects most often take the form of cookbooks, photo shoots, and conferences. She is also the CEO of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP). Martha received culinary training at l’Ecole de Cuisine La Varenne in Paris, where she lived for several years, following her training by working as a private chef to a diplomat. After her return to the U.S., she worked for ten years as editor-in-chief of Fine Cooking magazine, followed by five years as the food editor of The Oregonian newspaper, in Portland, Oregon. She was named to Saveur’s “Top 100” for her work at the newspaper. Martha is the author of several cookbooks, including the James Beard- and IACP-nominated Modern Sauces, and co-author with Jeffrey Morgenthaler of the top-selling The Bar Book. She is currently co-writing a book on vegetables with chef Joshua McFadden of Ava Genes in Portland, Oregon.
